Printed film packaging from the expert

The results count. Which print process is maropack's favourite? The one that is best for your design and the intended use of your printed film packaging. Depending on the situation, this may be flexographic printing, rotogravure, thermal transfer printing, hot stamping or digital printing. Regardless of which process the maropack experts recommend: The important outcome is that the result meets the most stringent quality standards.

The thermal transfer printing and hot stamping adds single-colour accents to highly transparent CPP or BOPP film. Other processes typically apply eight colours—or even more on request—to high-quality maropack film in pin-point detail.

Thermal transfer printing and hot stamping

Want to give a golden shine to your products with glossy film packaging? maropack does that, too. A particularly impactful version of hot stamping makes it possible. The process is ideally suited for imprinting brilliant films with your logo on one side. maropack also offers in-house thermal transfer printing. Both processes can be used for single-colour finishing of highly transparent OPP and CPP films.

With thermal transfer printing, you can print your design on a maximum surface area, while hot stamping can fill an area of 14 by 28 millimetres. One big reason why hot stamping and thermal transfer printing are so popular is the low initial cost. After all, the idea is to use the finishing process to add to high-quality, highly transparent OPP and CPP film to create something that is not only special, but one-of-a-kind.
